Hey there, we're straight shooters at Obsidrix Frontier. Your privacy matters to us, plain and simple. We've put together this policy so you know exactly what we do with your info when you train with us or use our site. No legal mumbo-jumbo that'll make your head spin - just honest talk about how we handle your data.
Look, when you sign up with us or book a session, we're gonna need some basics. We collect your name, email, phone number, and address - pretty standard stuff. If you're getting into our nutrition planning, we'll ask about dietary restrictions and health goals.
We also track your workout progress, attendance records, and performance metrics. That's how we know if you're crushing those PRs or if we need to adjust your programming. Payment info gets collected too when you grab a membership or book personal training sessions.
When you're browsing our website, we collect some technical stuff like IP addresses, browser type, and which pages you check out. Nothing creepy, just helps us make the site work better for everyone.
We use your info to actually run the gym and give you the service you're paying for. That means scheduling your sessions, tracking your progress, sending you reminders about classes, and making sure your coach knows what you're working toward.
Your contact details let us shoot you updates about schedule changes, new programs we're launching, or special events. We're not gonna spam you with garbage - just the good stuff you'd actually wanna know about.
Payment information? That's for processing your membership fees and session bookings. We work with secure payment processors to keep your financial data locked down tight.
Sometimes we'll use aggregated data (not your personal stuff) to see what's working and what's not. Like if everyone's loving HIIT but nobody's showing up for early morning slots, that helps us adjust our offerings.
We take security seriously around here. Your data's stored on secure servers with encryption, and we limit who on our team can access what. Our coaches only see what they need to train you effectively - they're not browsing through everyone's payment history or anything weird like that.
Our payment processing goes through industry-standard secure gateways. We don't store your full credit card numbers on our systems because, honestly, we don't need that liability and you don't need that risk.
Regular backups, security updates, and monitoring - we've got all that covered. But let's be real, no system's 100% bulletproof. We do our absolute best to keep your info safe, but if something ever went sideways, we'd let you know right away.
We're not in the business of selling your data to random companies. That's not our vibe. However, there are a few situations where we might share your info:
Our payment processors need your billing info to handle transactions. Our scheduling software providers help us manage bookings. Sometimes we work with nutrition consultants or physical therapists who need relevant details to help you hit your goals.
If the law requires it - like a court order or legal investigation - we'd have to comply. And if we ever sold the business or merged with another gym, your membership info would transfer over so you'd still get the service you signed up for.
That's pretty much it. We're not sharing your email with supplement companies or your workout stats with fitness apps unless you specifically tell us to.
Yeah, our website uses cookies. Not the chocolate chip kind, unfortunately. These are small files that help the site remember you and work properly.
Some cookies are essential - they keep you logged in and make sure the booking system doesn't glitch out on you. Others help us understand how people use the site so we can make it better.
Most browsers let you control cookies in the settings. You can block 'em if you want, but heads up - some parts of the site might not work as smoothly. Your call though.
Under Canadian privacy laws (specifically PIPEDA), you've got rights when it comes to your personal data. You can ask to see what info we have on you, request corrections if something's wrong, or ask us to delete your data if you're done training with us.
Wanna opt out of marketing emails? There's an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email we send. No hard feelings - we get it, inboxes get cluttered.
If you've got questions about your data or wanna exercise any of these rights, just reach out to us directly. We'll handle it as quickly as we can, usually within 30 days.
Keep in mind, there's some stuff we legally have to keep for a while, like financial records for tax purposes. But once we don't need it anymore, it gets wiped.
Sometimes we'll link out to other websites - maybe equipment suppliers, nutrition resources, or partner facilities. Once you click through to their sites, our privacy policy doesn't apply anymore.
We try to only link to legit sites, but we can't control what they do with your data. If you're concerned, check out their privacy policies before sharing any personal info over there.
We keep your data as long as you're a member and for a reasonable period after you leave. Usually that means keeping basic records for about seven years (tax requirements and all that fun stuff), but your detailed workout logs and personal notes might get archived or deleted sooner.
If you come back after taking a break, it's nice to have your previous progress data to build on. But if you specifically want everything deleted when you leave, just let us know and we'll take care of it beyond what we legally need to keep.
Our programs are designed for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from kids under 18 without parental consent.
If we find out we accidentally collected info from a minor without proper authorization, we'll delete it ASAP. Parents or guardians who sign up their teens for training need to provide consent and be involved in the membership process.
Things change, and sometimes we'll need to update this privacy policy. Maybe we add new services, change how we handle data, or need to comply with new regulations.
When we make changes, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top and let you know through email or a notice on the site. Big changes? We'll make sure you're aware before they take effect. Keep checking back every now and then so you're in the loop.
Got questions, concerns, or wanna know what data we have on you? We're here to help. Privacy stuff can be confusing, so don't hesitate to reach out.
